Healthlincs, the non-profit arm of Medicalincs, is joining forces with Governor Wes Moore’s administration to address Maryland’s youth mental health crisis. Backed by a multi-million-dollar grant from the Maryland Community Health Resource Commission, Healthlincs will roll out its Mental Health Wellness Continuum (MWC) Program to expand access to care, strengthen community supports, and build resilience among young people

Healthlincs partners with local and national agencies to connect healthcare resources, services, and systems to improve outcomes and foster meaningful living.

In January 2024, Governor Wes Moore and Lt. Governor Aruna Miller allocated a record $1.4 billion from the state budget for mental health and substance use programs, launching the Roadmap to Healing strategy. This initiative includes expanding access to care, strengthening the behavioral health workforce, integrating trauma-informed practices, and investing in community-based support systems.

Healthlincs is proud to be at the forefront of this effort with the MWC Program—a comprehensive initiative addressing urgent behavioral health needs among Maryland’s youth. This program is made possible through a multi-million-dollar grant from the Maryland Community Health Resource Commission’s Coordinated Community Supports Partnership
