The Most Admired CEOs awards honor outstanding business, nonprofit, and higher education leaders across Maryland whose vision and leadership inspire admiration from those they lead and serve. Winners are selected by a panel of judges based on professional accomplishments, community service, and recommendations from colleagues and board members.
In 2024, Dr. Nkem Okeke, CEO and Founder of Medicalincs, received this distinguished award.
“It’s one thing to think that your work impacts others positively, but it’s yet another for other leaders, community organizations, and your colleagues to nominate you for positively impacting others,” said Dr. Okeke. “It was even more humbling to be a co-honoree with a number of inspirational CEOs, including my friend’s father, Dr. Jay Perman, Physician Executive & Chancellor of the University System of Maryland.”
